Brian A. Redder, a trained mechanical engineer with more than two decades of professional experience, was active as the managing principal at Isaac Engineering Group, LLC from 2016 to 2023 and has been a construction manager at McDonald’s since 2023. In this role, he manages a team of area construction managers, collaborates closely with real estate partners, and handles various aspects of new restaurant development, from entitlement and permitting to construction and closeout, across the East Coast region—including Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Since 2007, he’s been active as a member of ASHRAE.
Mr. Redder previously wielded his leadership skills as a senior mechanical engineer at CS Consulting Engineers, Inc.—overseeing commissioning activities, supervising engineering staff, providing design cost estimates, and conducting facility assessments—and as a mechanical engineer at CRB. Before these appointments, he found success as a senior associate at GHT, a project engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc., and a mechanical engineer at CECA LLC. He started his career as a manufacturing engineer at O’Neal Steel in 1998.
Attributing his success to his strong commitment to diligence and collaboration, Mr. Redder believes his work ethic was shaped during his upbringing, while his ability to work well in a team developed later on. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1997. His college experience, particularly group projects, played a significant role in understanding the dynamics and psychology of effective teamwork, such as leveraging each team member’s strengths to achieve the best results.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Redder’s main objective is to complete his MBA program in 2025. Following that, he aims to continue guiding his Isaac Engineering Group team toward success in their market and throughout their entire system. His long-term goal is to nurture his team’s growth in their chosen direction. He feels responsible for teaching and mentoring them, equipping them with the necessary skills to potentially take over his position or even surpass it one day. Additionally, he aspires to develop his entrepreneurial spirit; he occasionally manages small projects or offers guidance for home renovations.
To aspiring professionals, he advised, “Seek fulfillment in what you’re passionate about rather than the financial gains.”

Mr. Redder also aspires to further develop his entrepreneurial spirit. He previously owned a consulting business focused on engineering, construction and project management under the name BK Development Group. Although he has temporarily set this business aside due to his transition to McDonald’s, he occasionally manages small projects or offers guidance for home renovations. At present, the business serves more as a hobby, but he endeavors to keep it active in the future.
